HC seeks KSRTC response on routes

A Division Bench of the Kerala High Court on Tuesday directed the Kerala State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) to file a statement in response to a petition challenging the recent government decision to entrust the fast passenger and express services with private bus operators.

The directive was issued by the Division Bench comprising Justice K. Surendra Mohan and Justice Mary Joseph issued the order on a petition filed by the Kerala State Bus Passengers Association challenging the order.

The bus passengers association said that the government decision was illegal and issued with mala fide intentions.
