HC directive to protect hospital property

The Kerala High Court on Friday issued notice to the State government and the Director of Ayurveda Medical Education on a writ petition seeking a directive to trace out the land owned by the Government Ayurveda College Hospital, Thripunithura, from the revenue records and protect the properties.

The petition was filed by B. Rajendran Pillai of Kochi. According to him, the Ayurveda College Hospital, Thripunithura, was one of the largest Ayurveda hospitals in the State. Though the hospital had around 30 acres, proper records were not available in the college regarding the extent and details of the property.
