Firecracker accident: one more succumbs to injury

One more person succumbed to injuries sustained in the April 15 firecracker accident at Karukutty near Angamaly, on Tuesday.

The deceased was identified as Joyal, 13, a Standard 8 student. He was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Kochi with 50% burns.

The accident occurred when a dump of firecrackers meant for a church festival at Angamaly accidentally exploded. Simon, 23, of Mambra was killed on the spot.
