Ernakulam MLA Hibi Eden will go on a hunger strike in front of the office of the Water Authority Superintendent Engineer in Kochi from October 3 to protest against the alleged apathy of the water authority officials in solving the drinking water crisis in areas around Cheranalloor.
According to the MLA, the KWA has miserably failed in finding a solution to the crisis, which has reached a critical stage. “They will be given two more days to find a permanent solution to the issue or else I will go for the hunger strike from October 3 at 10 a.m. onwards,” Mr. Eden said.
