Clint memorabilia launched

V. Venu, director-general of the National Museum of India, formally launched ‘Clint Memorabilia’, a project for conservation of the works of child prodigy Edmund Thomas Clint, who created over 25,000 pictures using pencil, crayons, ball pens and water colour before his death at age six years 11 months.

The project, launched by digital content developer Invis Multimedia, will include archiving thousands of drawings and paintings of the artist using state-of-the-art archiving technology. Extensive online fund-raising campaigns, by publicising artefacts and souvenirs with Clint’s pictures among a wider global audience, will be conducted for the successful running of the project.
