Filmmakers Lal Jose and Shajoon Karyal have been elected the new chairman and general secretary of the Malayalam Cine Technicians Association (MACTA).
Directors Joshy Mathew, and Sunderdas were elected the vice chairmen at the election of the office-bearers of the organisation held here on Wednesday.

Film-maker M. Padmakumar is the treasurer. The executive committee includes Deedi Damodaran, Madhu Balakrishnan, A. S. Dinesh, Indrans Jayan, Shafi, G. S. Vijayan, V. M. Vinu, Joseph Nellikkel, Collins Diaz, Johney Antony, Vayalar Sarathchandravarma, S. N. Swami, and K. Ramachandrababu.
Seven Arts Mohan, Shaji Pandavath, and A. K. Santosh are the new joint secretaries of MACTA.
