Minister for Fisheries and Registration S. Sarma said here on Wednesday that he expected a decision on the future of SmartCity project soon, though he ruled out any possibility of continuing with it under conditions demanded by the promoters of the project.
The Minister was speaking at a press conference.
He said that the promoters of Smart City project still appeared to be raising demands against conditions in the contract and that a legal opinion was being sought on the matter.
