Police inquiry: Youth commits suicide

S. Pochaiah (30), a resident of Sanjeevanraopet village in Naranyanakhed mandal allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself late Thursday night. Alleging police harassment, the relatives took the body and staged a dharna in front of the residence of one Ratna Goud, who had filed a case about theft in his residence recently.

Pochaiah was included in the list of suspects and the police reportedly summoned him for questioning. Feeling humiliated, Pochaiah allegedly resorted to the extreme step. Police rushed to the spot and tried to pacify the agitating mob.
