Young World Carnival’s workshops to pick up a skill or two

Children to be taught pencil sketching and origami

The Hindu Young World Carnival, presented by Indian Terrain Boy, in association with Madhu Kuruva and Collab House, is organising a pencil sketching workshop for children which will take them through a journey of learning the art and its techniques. The workshop is scheduled for July 28.

Interested parents can get their children, between seven and 15 years of age, to participate in the workshop.

Workshop for juniors, between seven and 11 years of age, will be conducted from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. For seniors between the age of 12 and 15 years, the workshop will be held from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m.

An origami workshop for children would be held by

The Hindu Young World Carnival, presented by Indian Terrain Boy, in association with Plabo and Collab House.

The workshop, to be held on July 29, will give children an opportunity to learn the style, technique and art of origami. It is open for kids aged between seven and 15 years.

The workshop for juniors, between seven and 11 years of age, will be conducted from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. And for seniors between 12 and 15 years of age, it will be from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The venue for both pencil sketching and origami workshops is Collab House, 66, above Syndicate Bank, road number 70, Journalists’ Colony at Jubilee Hills.
