How would you handle a situation wherein a junior is promoted a notch above you?

Pat came the reply from an aspiring CEO: “Well, I would list out my strengths and weaknesses and work on them. This apart, I would work hard and hope for the best.”

Apart from the eyeball-grabbing ‘Mr. and Ms. CEO’ competition, eight other contests tested the creative ability, aptitude, confidence and other qualities of students. The “Junk Yard” contest had participants think out-of-the-box to recycle the product for another use.

“Arthasastra aims to provide a platform for students to exhibit their talent,” said Anil Malpani, founder of JCI Hyderabad Synergy, the organisers of the annual event.

“Its fun and at the same time, it is very challenging. It helps us to learn more things and work on our weaknesses,” said Shruthi, an engineering student.

Experts from different fields were invited to adjudicate the performances and award prizes.
