TRS giving priority to farmers, says TRS leader

TRS leader K. T. Rama Rao.

Minister for IT and Municipal Administration in the caretaker government K. Taraka Rama Rao has called upon people to be wary of the grand alliance formed by the Congress and the TDP.

“They (TDP and Congress) fought for 40 years, but they have now formed an alliance only to defeat the TRS. They had opened fire on the people when asked about the power supply. The State will turn dark with power crisis if they come back to power,” he cautioned.

During his campaign in various villages of Gambhiraopeta mandal of Sircilla constituency on Wednesday, KTR launched a scathing attack on the unholy alliance forged by the the Congress and TDP. He alleged that while the Congress was filing cases against the execution of irrigation projects, TDP president Chandrababu Naidu was writing to the Union government to obstruct the construction of projects. The Congress and TDP cannot do anything for the welfare and development of Telangana, he said.
