Uttarakhand to replicate Karimnagar model

Uttarakhand Minister for Cooperation and Education Dhan Singh Rawath said they will replicate the computerisation process at the Primary Agricultural Cooperative Societies in Karimnagar district in Uttarakhand. The Minister along with officials visited the district on Wednesday to inspect the computerisation of the PACS in Gattududdenapalli village and interacted with the officials and inquired about the functioning of the cooperative society. Later, talking to newsmen here, Mr. Rawath said that they would replicate the Karimnagar model of computerisation in their State for ensuring transparency and follow best practices for the strengthening of the cooperative societies.

The Minister also visited the Karimnagar Milk Producer Company Limited (Karimnagar Dairy) and interacted with the dairy officials. Karimnagar Dairy Chairman Ch. Rajeshwara Rao made a power- point presentation about the progress of the dairy and welfare programmes launched for the milk producing farmers and the milching animals.

DCCB vice chairman V. Mohan Reddy Nabard AGM Ravi Babu, DCCB CEO Satyanarayana Rao and others were also present.
