An Intermediate first year student was allegedly raped by two teenagers in an isolated place at Bonguluru Gate under Vanasthalipuram police station limits.
Though the incident occurred on December 21, it came to light on Sunday when her parents returned home after her father was discharged from Nims and enquired about her health problems. She then recounted her ordeal and told them that two teenagers had raped her. The duo’s friend Srinivas Goud (38) assisted them in the crime, she said.
After sexually assaulting her, the trio left her at Brahmanapally village and escaped. The girl later managed to reach home. Since then, she has been confined to her home. Based on a complaint, the police registered a case and took them into custody.

Meanwhile, the Mumbai dancer, who was gang-raped by four persons on December 31 night, demanded that the culprits be hanged. Interacting with a vernacular TV channel, she said the accused deserved stringent punishment.
