A private company employee and his woman colleague riding a bike were killed when an oncoming A.P.S.R.T.C. bus hit them at AOC gate-Safilguda road in the cantonment area on Saturday evening.
Ravikanth, 46, of Neredmet, and Laxmi, 50, of Malkajgiri, were heading towards Safilguda and passed by the rotary at AOC gate when the bus ploughed into their bike. Death was instant for both of them. Their office is located in Ameerpet.

An amount of Rs. 11.5 lakh was allegedly stolen from the house of a scrap dealer at Pathan Basthi in Musheerabad on Saturday.
