TS to have new official portal soon

The Information Technology (IT) Department of Telangana government will launch the newly-developed State portal in a week’s time.

The current portal www.telangana.gov.in was made available as a stop-gap arrangement immediately after the bifurcation of combined Andhra Pradesh.

“The new portal is designed as per national and international guidelines for government websites. The new portal has special features which will enable differently-abled people to access the content on the site,” IT Secretary to Telangana, Harpreet Singh, said on Monday. The portal will be launched in English initially and the Telugu and Urdu versions would follow later. The website will contain information about the State’s history, culture and all important statistics.
