Determined to regain its foothold with the traditional vote back which had slipped out of its hands in the general elections, Congress party in Telangana has drawn an action plan to woo them back.
The High-level committee of the Telangana Congress headed by former PCC chief D. Srinivas firmly believes that it should woo the people from Andhra and Rayalaseema settled in Hyderabad and other parts of Telangana. It felt that efforts should be made to regain the confidence of minorities, particularly Muslim community.
Conceding that the attractive manifesto of TRS and the promises made to the SCs and STs had turned against the party in general elections, it now wants to harp on the fact that the TRS government has failed to fulfil its poll promises. It is also eyeing the resentment brewing among the youth and student community.
