Three buses of Delhi Public School at Nacharam, which were parked on the school premises, gutted in the early hours of Saturday.
“Fire started around 5 am. Before fire tenders were called in, the security personnel tried to douse flames using water,” Nacharam inspector Ashok Kumar said.
There were nine security guards on duty at the school. Police ruled out the possibility of outsiders setting the buses on fire as all the buses were parked inside the walled school premises.
