The 18th edition of The Hindu Young World Quiz competition will be held on January 31 at Sundarayya Vignana Kendram, Baghlingampally for Junior and Senior categories.
Students of classes 4th 5th and 6th will be considered as juniors and students of classes 7th 8th and 9th will be considered as seniors. Competition for juniors will be held in the morning, for seniors it will be in the afternoon. Prize distribution will be held on the same day evening.
Junior category participants have to report at the venue by 9 a.m. and the competition will begin at 10 a.m. Senior category participants to report at the venue by 1 p.m. and the competition will commence at 2 p.m.

A team consisting of two students of same category and same school have to register. Students from different branches of the same school cannot contest as one team. Both the members of the team should be from the same school and from the same branch. There is no limit of number of teams from one School. But for the final 6 teams, a maximum of 2 teams from the same school will be permitted.
Registration Fee is ₹200 per team and registrations can be done on ‘www.thehindu.com/ywquiz’. The event is being presented by the State Bank of India and powered by Eveready Industries India Ltd and Arrow Publication is the knowledge partner.
