The beauty queen has a link with Adilabad district as she studied in the local St. Joseph’s Convent School, before the family migrated to Canada. Her teachers remember her as a studious girl who was also interested in cultural activity, especially dance. Her school celebrated her achievement by putting up a flexi banner on its premises and so did her fans in the town.

Sravya’s father Ravi Kumar was an Agriculture Officer at Ichoda mandal in Adilabad district before he gave up the job to pursue a different profession in his adopted country.
