The anniversary function to mark the completion of one year in office of the TDP government would be held on a grand scale, according to a senior Minister. He dropped subtle hints that all the ceremony would be held at Thullur.
“The Centre has already given administrative sanction to the design of few buildings at Thullur and considering the logistical advantages, we could zero on at Thullur, but the final decision will be taken by Chief Minister at the Cabinet meeting on May 22,” said the Minister.
However, Minister for Municipal Administration and Vice Chairman of CRDA P. Narayana remained tight-lipped and refused to give hint on the proposed site during a tour in the capital region on Monday.

Mr Narayana, when prodded by media persons at the CRDA office in Thullur, only pleaded with the media personnel not to believe in any rumours and wait for the news to be revealed by Chief Minister or any senior Cabinet minister.
Even though the announcement was met with subdued enthusiasm in Thullur, the ground zero for all capital related activity, the CRDA was left grappling with the delay in getting the development agreements with the land owners firmed up.

So far, the development agreements in form 9.14 have been sealed for just about 15,000 acres out of the total pooled area of 33,632.15 acres.
The CRDA was going all out to firm up the agreements, a vital step in the Land Pooling Scheme. Special offices have been set up at Hyderabad and Bangalore to seal the agreements.
Notified area
The total notified area for the capital region is 47,626.37 acres, out of which 37,927 acres is Patta land.
Land owners have given consent in 33,632.15 acres and enjoyment survey was completed in 31,679.64 acres. The government has paid annuity of Rs.54.86 crore to 8,789 land owners so far.
