Science and Art exhibitions, distribution of hearing aids and cultural programmes by children of Ashray Akruti marked annual event of the voluntary organisation working for the disabled persons at the Satyasai Nigamagamam as part of the International Day of Persons with Disability celebrations across the world on Sunday.
About 550 children from all branches and projects of the organisation came together and participated to exhibit their talents. Health Secretary Rajeshwar Tiwari and others were present. Earlier, the organisation’s head administrator Mahesh Babu received the award for best organisation working for the disabled.
