Singapore varsity keen on innovation tie-up with UoH

A team from Nanyang Technological University (NTU) Innovation Centre, Singapore, held talks with the University of Hyderabad (UoH) and expressed desire to establish linkages with incubation centres at the two institutions for mutual benefit as well as for promoting innovation and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

The team, led by CEO Lim Jui, consisted of Jenny Hallen-Hedberg, Director, Office of International Affairs; Inderjit Singh Dhaliwal, Member, Board of Trustees of NTU; Brenda Ng, Assistant Manager, Enterprise Development of NTU Innovation Centre.

P. Prakash Babu, Pro Vice-Chancellor of UoH, held discussions with the officials of the Technology Industrial Liaison and Entrepreneurship Unit (TIE-U) — Technology Innovation for Development of Entrepreneurship (TIDE), Technology Business Incubator (TBI) and BioNEST Incubation Centre — based in the university.

The university officials gave details of the activities and infrastructure facilities operating on the campus.

Dr. Jui gave a brief presentation on the achievements of the NTU Innovation Centre and the team later visited the BioNEST facility.
