Seven property offenders held in Hyderabad

A seven member gang of alleged property offenders was nabbed by the Hayathnagar police on Tuesday. Seven tolas of gold, 11 motorcycles, two laptops, three mobile phones and an auto-rickshaw were recovered from them.

The gang members Raj Kumar, Suraj, Suman, Santosh, Gangadhar, Pavan and Ganesh would move around in colonies in auto rickshaw and commit property offences like chain snatchings, burglaries and vehicle lifting, Hayathnagar CCS Inspector, P Subbaiah said.

The gang committed 23 offences in the last three months in Meerpet, Hayathnagar, Mediapally and Kothur police station limits. Except Ganesh all the gang members were arrested for similar offences in the past by the police.
