SCR emerges as runners up in All India Inter Railway Golf Tournament

The SCR Golf Team which emerged as runners up at the 57th All India Inter Railway Golf Tournment in Patna recently.

The South Central Railway Golf Team emerged runners up at the 57th All India Inter Railway Golf Tournament, held at Patna from 15th to 17th March 2013. Gajbhiye, Chief Mechanical Engineer and president South Central Railway Sports Association (SCRSA), B.S.K Raj Kumar, Chief Engineer & Secretary, South Central Railway Golf Club and Bala Murali, Assistant Sports Officer lauded the achievement of the SC Railway Golf Team. Twenty teams from various Zonal Railways and production units participated in the tournament.. Diesel Locomotive Works, Varanasi secured first place with 460 points, South Central Railway secured second place with 466 points and South Western Railway secured third place with 468 points. Ajay Bharati, golfer belonging to SC Railway team was declared as second best Golfer and also won in the “Longest Drive” contest, said a press release.
