A young couple from Peerzadiguda were killed after a TSRTC bus rammed their bike at Narapally in Medipally on Sunday. Three others suffered severe injures.
The couple were identified as Koteswara Rao (29) and his wife, Swapna (27). They died while undergoing treatment at a hospital in Uppal.
The driver of the Yadagirigutta-bound bus lost control of the wheels, crossed over the median and hit the oncoming vehicles head on at 4 p.m. near Narapally cross roads, Medipally inspector B. Anji Reddy said.

The bus, which was coming from Uppal, was being driven in a rash manner, he said, adding, “Suddenly, he swerved the vehicle to the right and hit the oncoming bikes after ramming the median,” he said.
A case has been registered and a probe is on.
