A significant number of tour operators and travel agents based in Chicago and other cities of the United States of America have at a Telangana Tourism road show evinced keen interest in promoting visits by tourists from North America to Hyderabad and other attractions across Telangana, said Principal Secretary (Tourism & Cultures), Government of Telangana, B.P. Acharya.

Making a presentation at the road show organised by the Ministry of Tourism, Government of India in Chicago on Tuesday, he highlighted the confluence of cultures that Hyderabad, the City of Pearls and its uniqueness that was recognised by the National Geographic Traveller as a ‘Must See’ destination.
He also made specific mention of Hyderabad city emerging as an international hub for MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences & Exhibitions) tourism.
