Relatives protest youth’s arrest

Relatives of a youngster from the Old City staged a demonstration in front of Rajendranagar police station on Monday evening for detaining him accusing him of stealing gold chains.

Sensing that situation was going out of control, the police officials released the youth, Syed Ali Agha Akthar Ali Eshan after verifying his antecedents.

Police picked up the youngester for his alleged involvement in a few chain snatchings that took place in twin cities recently.
