The Telugu Desam Party Telangana State unit has demanded that the Government take steps to regularise services of contract and outsourcing staff working in the Forest Department ensuring payment of salaries on par with the regular employees.
The State Government should take steps to merge the existing staff with the department if there were difficulties in regularising their services and ensure that orders are issued with immediate effect giving pay parity with the regular employees.
The Government should take steps to remit the provident fund and ESI deducted from the employees in their respective accounts.

Telangana TDP working president A. Revanth Reddy, in a letter addressed to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao, lamented that over 3,000 employees working on contract and outsourcing basis as watchers, striking forces, animal trackers and other posts in the Forest department were living in pathetic conditions.
“The Government has announced regularisation of services of a section of employees of one department and it should not adopt a different yardstick in case of the Forest staff,” he said.
These employees were being paid salary of ₹ 6,700 and the take home pay for this staff was less than ₹ 6,000 after PF and ESI deductions. The deducted amounts were not being credited into the accounts of the employees.

The Government should take steps to regularise the services of these employees besides initiating action against those responsible for diverting the amount deducted from the employees’ salaries to other purposes.
