Registrations for ISC-2018 end on November 30

20,000 delegates to attend

The organising committee of the 105th edition of the Indian Science Congress being hosted by the Osmania University has announced that registration to participate in the event will close as per schedule.

The last date for registration to participate in the event to be held from January 3 to 7 next year without late fee is November 30.

Registrations will be made with late fee till December 15.

The committee has clarified that there will not be any spot registrations to avoid last-minute chaos and participation in the Indian Science Congress-2018 would not be allowed without prior registration.

The Indian Science Congress is organised annually by the Central Government through the Union Science and Technology Ministry and the Indian Science Congress Association.

The event, customarily inaugurated by the Prime Minister, is the first of its kind in Telangana after the formation of the new State.

It will feature four other events - science exhibition, children’s science congress, women’s science congress and science communicators’ meet.

Close to 20,000 delegates including Nobel laureates, eminent personalities, researchers and scholars besides students and faculty from within the country and abroad are expected to participate in the event.
