All India Congress Committee president Rahul Gandhi will be in Hyderabad on August 13 and 14. He will stay at the Harita Plaza, nest to the Pragati Bhavan where Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao resides.
During his two-day tour to the city and Ranga Reddy district, Mr. Gandhi will participate in the fourth phase of the Jana Chaitanya bus yatra of the Telangana Congress and address street-corner meetings covering several constituencies in the city and the neighbouring Ranga Reddy district.
Since this will be his first visit to Telangana after assuming charge as AICC President, the Telangana Congress is making all efforts to ensure he leaves behind a mark that would haunt the Government till the elections.

He will have meetings with several groups including the University students and unemployed youth who played a key role in the Telangana formation.
Telangana Pradesh Congress Committee (TPCC) president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy said Mr. Gandhi will also interact with the members of self help groups, who were allegedly totally ignored by the Government over the past four years and also the intellectuals and leaders from different segments. He will seek their opinions on the State and national issues.
Reacting to the comments by IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao on him, the TPCC chief described them as ‘childish’.

IT Cell launched
Mr. Reddy formally launched the TPCC IT Cell and announced the appointment of Kalakuntla Madan Mohan Rao as its chairman.
He said the IT Cell would play a major role in creating a link between the party, leaders and cadres. The IT Cell would also expose the failures of the TRS and BJP governments.
Mr. Madan Mohan Rao, who is the son-in-law of Errabelli Dayakar Rao, MLA, said that the IT Cell would act as a bridge between the party and cadre through an innovative programme Congress Human Resources Management System (CHARMS).
