Pushpak bus fare increased by Rs. 50

The Greater Hyderabad zone of APSRTC has increased the fares of Pushpak AC buses, which are operated to Shamshabad airport from different localities in four different routes in the capital by Rs.50. The new rates will come into effect from October 1.

The fares for travelling above 34 km in a Pushpak bus on a particular route is increased from Rs.200 to Rs.250 per trip and those travelling below 34 km will now have to pay Rs.200 against the previous fares of Rs.150.

However, those availing to-and-fro tickets to the airport will be offered 10 per cent discount and they need to pay Rs.360 against the regular fare of Rs.400.

For children aged between 5 and 12 years, half fare will be collected and those below five years can travel for free, said a press release.
