Professionals told to get firm grasp on their businesses

The speakers at a HR conclave organised by CII Telangana in the city on Friday sought to underscore the growing significance of the professionals and the need for them to play a greater role in the operations of the company.

President and Global Head of HR at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Ltd., Chandrasekhar Sripada said HR professional’s need to have a very firm grasp of business fundamentals and be part of discussions about formulation and implementation of strategy. It is time they move from the sidelines and become part of the core decision making.
