The city police on Friday made elaborate arrangements in old city and surroundings areas following communal clashes in Sangareddy.
DCP (South) Manish Kumar Sinha said patrolling has been intensified in old city on the eve of Sri Ramanavami and Sri Hanuman Jayanthi and a meeting was also held with religious leaders. No untoward incidents were reported during Friday prayers in old city, officials said.
