The city police took Obulesu to Kurnool where he reportedly stayed at a lodge before his arrest. A local court had granted four-day police custody of Obulesu on Monday. In his confession, Obulesu allegedly told the police that he used to hide the stolen AK-47 rifle at a hillock and visit the place regularly. The police team who took him to Kurnool reportedly visited the hillock and a few other places.
