MP ridicules Opposition alliance

Published - September 19, 2018 11:23 pm IST - NIZAMABAD

Member of Parliament K. Kavitha ridiculed the proposed Mahakootami (grand alliance) among four political parties including Congress and TDP and described them as “dusta chatustam” (evil four).

“Epic villains Duryodan, Dussashan, Karna and Shakuni have come together. However, they have to decide themselves who dons what role. Those who have no love on Telangana are forming the alliance against TRS. People will give them a fitting reply,” she said while talking to mediapersons.

Congress leader Abhishek Manu Singhvi said 70 lakh votes were missing while TPCC president N. Uttam Kumar Reddy alleged that 20 lakh votes were deleted. There is no clarity on which is the correct figures. However, the voter enrolment and announcement of lists come under the purview of Election Commission of India, she said.

“Is there any meaning in their allegations that KCR manipulated voter list. It has become a habit for Congress to move courts and get strictures. Alliance between the Congress and the TDP is unethical as both squeezed the people of Telangana. It is ridiculous that the TJA also entered the alliance,” she said.

Earlier Ms. Kavitha offered prayers to the 60-ft clay Ganesh idol installed by Raviteja Youth Club at Pochammagalli. She also attended the anaemia diagnostic examination camp for adolescent girls conducted by the Telangana Jagruthi.
