Mother and child die in Sangareddy hospital

Tension prevailed for some time at the district headquarters hospital on Thursday as a woman and her child died on the hospital premises. According to Anjaneyulu, Circle Inspector (Town), G. Lakshi (23) was admitted to the hospital for delivery on Wednesday.

The woman gave birth to a baby girl and the delivery was normal. However, mother died due to excess bleeding in the morning while infant died due to breathing problems.

Holding doctors responsible for the death of mother and child, the relatives of the deceased staged a dharna at the hospital for some time. Police intervened and pacified the agitators by promising to do justice.
