Union Minister of State for Labour and Employment Bandaru Dattatreya has made it clear that his party would go it alone and will not have truck with any other political party in 2019 General Elections.
“Our party will have a bright future in Telangana and Modi popularity has been on the rise. Prime Minister’s popularity across the country in 2014 was 36% and according to a recent survey conducted by a credible private organization it went up to 44%. By next elections it would further increase making the party matchless,” he said while addressing a press conference, here on Friday.
Dattatreya who took part in the BJP Vistaran Yojana programme in Armoor and Manchippa, claimed that the party national president Amit Shah’s recent tour in the State had given a fillip to cadres and if Modi comes it would further strengthen the party. “We will definitely come to power in the State,” he said putting up a beaming face on the future of his party in reply to a question.

Survey credibility
Replying another question on Chief Minister K. Chandrashekar Rao’s survey on his party performance the senior BJP leader said that Government surveys would not carry any credence. Referring to Indira Gandhi survey in 1977 and poll survey of N. Chandrababu Naidu in 2004 he said they had gone wrong.
Stating that the Congress had spoiled the socio, economic fabric of the country during its 50-year rule, he said that hence neither Rahul Gandhi nor his family had any moral right to criticize the BJP. He took a dig at the Congress saying that it divided society on the basis of caste, creed and religion.

The Union Minister found fault with the TRS Government’s efforts to provide 12% reservations to Muslims and other religious minorities describing it “anti Constitutional”. “We vehemently oppose any party which wants to do vote bank politics. There is no caste in Islam and we will highlight all these points in our campaign,” he added.
Earlier, Dattatreya after participating in door-to-door campaign of his party Government’s schemes in Kanteswar, Manchippa and Armoor had community lunch at Arundathinagar in Armoor.
