Modi, KCR, Governor greet Naidu on birthday

65 years young:AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu cutting a birthday cake with a sword, presented to him by partymen, at NTR Bhavan in Hyderabad on Monday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Governor E.S.L. Narasimhan, Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao were among a host of leaders, who greeted Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and TDP president N. Chandrababu Naidu on his 65{+t}{+h}birthday on Monday.

Besides telephoning and greeting Mr. Naidu, the Prime Minister also tweeted: Dear @ncbn Garu, wishing you a very Happy Birthday. May you be blessed with a long life, filled with good health. Mr. Narasimhan and Mr. Chandrasekhar Rao too spoke on telephone with Mr. Naidu and extended their birthday wishes. Union Minister of State for Science and Technology Y.S. Chowdhary also greeted the Chief Minister.

Amidst slogans by TDP activists, Mr. Naidu cut a huge cake with a sword at NTR Bhavan, the party headquarters here. Several TDP leaders from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, besides some of his Cabinet colleagues presented the Chief Minister with bouquets. With scores of party functionaries thronging NTR Bhavan, there was lot of jostling and pushing inside the hall as many of them tried to get closer to Mr. Naidu and extend their birthday wishes. The Chief Minister inaugurated health camps for blood donation and free dental and eye check-up. In a brief address, he praised the sacrifices made by party activists and said he was dedicating his life for the well being of Telugu people.
