MIM embarks on campaign with April Gyara, Asad Dobara

With a slogan April Gyara, Asad Dobara , Hyderabad Parliamentarian Asaduddin Owaisi on Tuesday embarked on paidal daura of Bahadurpura segment in his constituency.

Accompanied by legislator Mohammed Moazzam Khan, the MIM president began his tour from Ranjan Colony at around 8 a.m. where he met his constituents.

Canvassing on foot, Mr. Owaisi also visited Basharat Nagar, ITI Colony and Macca Colony among others.

According to party sources, the

paidal daura would continue on Wednesday with Mr. Owaisi scheduled to visit both Bahadurpura and Charminar segments of the constituency that he represents in the Parliament. Later in the evening, he would address a public meeting near Jama Masjid at Osman Bagh.

Taking to Twitter, Mr. Owaisi said he spent a large part of his MP Local Area Development Scheme for education and infrastructure.

MPLAD funds

“In the last five years, ₹.71 cr of my #MPLAD funds were spent on education and infrastructure in my constituency. A substantial portion went towards women’s degree & junior colleges. I am contesting this election on my record. A lot more needs to be done & inshallah I’ll work towards it,” he tweeted.
