Not accustomed to dealing with events like a suicide for an emotional cause, people of Kuchulapur village in Talamadugu mandal, drowned themselves in sorrow on Wednesday when one of the youngsters of the village died over the separate Telangana issue in Hyderabad.
Darshanala Santosh, a first year M.Sc student of Osmania University, hung himself from a tree, apparently disturbed emotionally over the dealings in the formation of Telangana State.
Santosh, aged 26, was remembered as an affable person who had gone to the State's capital over one year back to pursue the postgraduate course. But, whenever he came to the village, he used to espouse the cause of Telangana.

No sooner had the news of the suicide reached Kuchulapur, Shivanna and Narsavva, parents of Santosh rushed to Hyderabad.
He was the youngest of the four children of the agriculture labourer family.
As there was no one close to the family who could inform them about the developments in Hyderabad, villagers had to be content with visiting the locked house of Santosh.

They paid homage to a small flexi-poster of the youngster that was hung outside the door.
According to available information, the dead body would arrive in the wee hours of Thursday.
The cremation will take place in the morning.
