KTR meets four Union Ministers

IT Minister K.T. Rama Rao today called on four Union Ministers in New Delhi to take up various issues.

At his meeting with Home Minister Rajnath Singh, Mr. Rao sought amendment to AP Reorganisation Act in the next session of Parliament to pave way for increase in the number of Assembly constituencies in the State from 119 to 153. He requested Finance Minister Arun Jaitley to permit Japan International Cooperation Agency to withdraw Rs 833 crore from the State government account towards the repayment for the current term of the loan borrowed for construction of outer ring road of Hyderabad. Mr. Rao requested Urban Development Minister M. Venkaiah Naidu to include Karimnagar among Smart Cities project and Union Information Technology Minister Ravishankar Prasad to sanction Rs 100 crore for the second phase of T-Hub. Mr. Prasad was also urged to sanction Rs 3,000 crore due to the State for implementation of IT Investment Region.
