Krishna Pushkaram works to be completed by June-end

Minister for Endowments A. Indrakaran Reddy on Tuesday stated that the government was taking all steps to complete works pertaining to Krishna Pushkaralu-2016 by June-end. An amount of Rs.825 crore would be spent on construction of bathing ghats, roads and other facilities.

Field visits

Speaking to newspersons here, he said works were progressing briskly and he would take up field visits in Nalgonda and Mahabubnagar district after holding a review meeting in the second week of this month. It was required to put in extra efforts in the arrangements since the event would be occurring during the monsoon season, he said.
