KCR’s CMO to maintain caste equilibrium

Telangana Chief Minister-designate K. Chandrasekhar Rao is trying to maintain social justice even in the composition of his office by handpicking officers from different communities.

He has already decided on Coal India Chairman and Managing Director S. Narsing Rao as the Principal Secretary of the CMO representing the forward castes. Among the backward classes, he has narrowed down the choice to C. Parthasarathi, B. Venkatesham Goud and N. Sridhar.

As regards Scheduled Castes, Mr. Rao is said to have finalised the name of A. Murali who is a conferred IAS officer posted in the Society for Elimination of Rural Poverty. An ST IAS officer of Rajasthan cadre P. Ramesh who is presently a Joint MD of APTRANSCO is drafted into the CMO, sources said.

P. Rajasekhar Reddy has already joined as the Officer on Special Duty for the new Chief Minister of Telangana. All of them belong to Telangana.
