Inspired by the successful functioning of Janahitha online public grievances redressal system in Kamareddy and Suryapet districts, the Rajanna-Sircilla district authorities have also decided to introduce Janahitha in the district very soon.
Instead of waiting for the Monday to lodge their complaint with the District Collector and other officials at weekly Prajavani, the public grievances redressal programme, people can now register their compliant any time on all working days online by sending a Whatsapp message, SMS, e-mail or by making a telephone call.
Following the instructions from Minister for IT and Municipal Administration K. Taraka Rama Rao, the district authorities are gearing up to start the Janahitha services. The online Janahitha grievances redressal system will help people lodge their complaint from their village instead of visiting the district headquarters and know about the status online.

On Wednesday, the IT professionals made a power-point presentation about the Janahitha system to District Collector D. Krishna Bhaskar, Joint Collector Yasmeen Basha and DRO K. Shyam Prasad Lal.
Impressed by the online services, the Collector asked the IT officials to start the system very soon in Rajanna-Sircilla district. The complaint lodged through Janahitha would be responded in a time-bound manner or else a departmental action would be initiated against the officials concerned, the Collector said.
