Intensive ticket checking drive was conducted in the Sitafalmandi-Nizamabad Section and a ‘Road check’ at Kuchavaram and Medchal stations of the Hyderabad Division, to curb ticketless/irregular travel and ensure comfortable, safe journey of bona-fide rail passengers.
Tickets of passengers in 32 trains – 14 MMTS/Local trains, 12 passengers trains and 6 Mail/Express trains – were scrutinised . A total of 368 persons, comprising 242 persons travelling without ticket, 2 travelling with irregular tickets and 124 cases of un-booked luggage were detected.
