HMWSSB chief reviews projects

Managing director of the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply and Sewage Board M. Dana Kishore on Tuesday reviewed the progress of the ₹1,900-crore HUDCO Aided Water Supply Improvement and Distribution Network in peripheral municipal circles and the ORR Project.

Mr Kishore reiterated that the HUDCO project should be completed and commissioned by the end of February, and said nominated special officers and third party should inspect ongoing work of reservoirs, inlet, outlet arrangements and other work immediately.

He instructed project officers and the implementing agency to submit time-lines for construction of reservoirs, procurement schedules of pipes, inlet, outlet laying etc. of the ORR project and underscored the need to take necessary safety precautions.
