Alerted by the Monday’s disaster through heavy rain, the GHMC has demolished a total of 11 dilapidated structures across the city on Tuesday. The structures were located in Kushaiguda, Khannagar, Lal Darwaza, Bahadurpura, Gudimalkapur, Ziaguda, Defence Colony, and RP Road.
During the last six months, a total of 173 dilapidated structures were demolished, and 15 were sealed by the corporation.
A total of 188 unauthorised structures too were demolished, while encroachments were removed from 142 locations, apart from 23 nala encroachments, a press release informed.
