Four of a family end life

A couple killed both their children and later hanged themselves at their house in Lalaguda on Wednesday night. The couple, Praveen Kumar, 33 and Swathi, 28, first strangulated their daughters Akshya Krupa, 3, and Varshita, 5, and later took their lives by hanging, in Shantinagar, Lalapet, the police said. The incident came to light on Thursday morning when neighbours grew suspicious as none of the family members came out of the house.

The police found a suicide note purportedly written by Praveen at the house. In the note the man alleged that he resorted to the extreme step owing to disputes with his relatives over some issues.
