Ex-MIM worker killed

A ex-worker of All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen was killed by three unidentified persons at his plywood shop in Mailardevpally here on Saturday afternoon, Mailardevpally police said. The accused smashed his head with a hammer, reportedly due to family dispute. The victim was identified as Mohd. Amjad Khan.

Around 2 p.m., the three accused came on motorbikes and attacked the victim with lethal weapons. When Khan tried to escape, they smashed his head with a hammer. He died while being rushed to Osmania General Hospital.

Teams have been formed and are analysing the video footages of the surveillance cameras in the area to identify the accused, cops said.
