A defence pension adalat to benefit Ex-Servicemen, their widows and dependants will be held in the city on July 27 and 28. It is the first time in 10 years that Principal Controller of Defence Pensions, Allahabad has called for the adalat in the city, Sainik Welfare Department stated in a release. Beneficiaries of defence pension who draw pension either from banks or Defence Pension Disbursing Office in Hyderabad and Secunderabad are eligible to attend the pension adalat. Grievances including non-receipt of pension, non-receipt of family pension, stoppage of pension, revision of pension, One Rank One Pension, disability pension or incorrect pension, among others can be addressed at the hearing.
The last date for sending grievances to S K Sharma, Pension Adalat Officer, Principal Controller of Defence Accounts-Pension, Draupadi Ghat, Allahabad-211014 by June 30. They can also address their grievances to Mr. Sharma on cda-albd@nic.in,or faxed to 0532-2421873.
The attendees should also send a copy of their grievances to Director Sainik Welfare, Telangana, available at the postal address: Sainik Aramghar Complex, Raj Bhavan Road, Somajiguda, Hyderabad-500082. This copy could also be faxed to 040-23423288, 23423211 or mailed to directorrsb-ts@nic.in.
